Description
“Boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew!” Letterpress art print inspired by a nice interaction between Samwise Gamgee and Gollum during The Two Towers film, from the Lord of the Rings series (JRR Tolkien / Peter Jackson). I made this print using a mix of wood type and metal type that was set by hand and printed on my vintage letterpress proofing press.
This 5×7″ print is available in limited quantities on “potato brown” kraft cardstock, and prints will be signed and dated (year) on back.
Each print is inked by hand and hand-printed (or “hand pulled”) on my flatbed printing / proofing press. Due to the hand inking, the age of the wood type, and the nature of the printing process, there may be a variation of texture, color, and opacity between different prints, making every print unique!
You will receive the print unframed, in a plastic sleeve, inside a semi-rigid cardboard mailer envelope (example shown in last photo). I ship via USPS First Class and the shipping cost includes tracking.
